So apparently I got a Daily Deviation yesterday, on my "Octo-tea" photo. That was completely unexpected and quite fun. I feel like that was a nice start on my summer holiday, which has just started. I should have much more time for photography for a few weeks now. At least when I've rested a bit and slept for ages and ages.

Hope people are having a nice summer and all! :la:

O hai!

Well, I'm sure I'm one of the worst to actually have an updated journal. But seeing as I havn't done it since around November last year... Well, it was about time. :B

I've not updated for a while as I've been terribly busy with school, and the little spare time I have had has gone to the boyfriend. I don't really have much time now either, as I'm working on my end of year assignment, but I realised I need to give myself some time for breaks, or I'll go completely mental. If anyone is curious as to what I'm working on, I have a blog here: [link]
It's in Norwegian, but I try to make the posts with a lot of images. :dummy:

I'm going to try to get some photo's up a few times a week from now on, at least once. I might fail at that, but we'll see.

I hope you lovely people are doing fine and all! :huggle: and :glomp: and  for you all!

So. Apparently someone has decided to go ahead and post more or less my entire gallery as their own. Isn't that just lovely? :|

I guess I'll just have to go trigger happy on reporting. The deviant in question is ~DistanceInMind , in case anyone was wondering.

Le sigh.

Edit: The account seems to have been deactivated already, thank you all for your quick support and trigger happy reporting skills, comments and everything! You all deserve a delcious cupcake and lots and lots of hugs! :huggle:

Hey-o!

I'm not really all that great on keeping this thing updated, am I? Oh well. :B

Been busy with school since, well, it started really. For the past 2 weeks we've had about animation, and we got a one week assignment to make a short animation. I'm fairly happy with how mine turned out, so if you got 30seconds to spare, and like colourful things and bouncy pigs, take a look here: [link] :dummy:
Also, if anyone should feel like seeing my first 3D modelling assignment, you can see it here: [link]
Text is in Norwegian, but the pictures is really all you need. I might go ahead and post in english when I get some time on my hands anyway. :dummy:

My best friend also made me some (lol) fanart of said pig.

On a side note, things are going good here, hope everyone is fine and enjoying autumn as much as they can!
I'll try to give my camera some love this week, if the weather starts to be nice again, and I'm not in a zombified state when I get back home.

:huggle: to all!

Hello, lovely people.

I thought I'd just let you all know that I'm back at school again, for the first time in 6 years or something. So I'm a little busy trying to adjust to being around people, getting up early and stuffing my head full of new knowledge at a rather fast pace. And you know, not turning into a ball of anxieties and stress ( kind of failing at that )
I've started to study 3D design, and not photography as people might have thought. It's quite fun, and so far I like it. Although it's only been 2 weeks, but still, I'm sure I'll enjoy it even more when I start getting a bit better at it. :B .
So, yeah. I'll be posting a lot less now, sadly. But I'll try to squeeze in some time for photography as well, when I have the conscience to do other stuff than school things.

Hope you're all doing wonderful! :huggle: 's for all!

Good [insert time of the day here], people!

So, I got home from Edinburgh yesterday. I want to go back. Give more men in kilts and awesome castles! :dummy:

Our hostel was surprisingly nice. In fact, as far as hostels go, it was downright luxurious. At least when I compare it to other hostel's I've been to.
The hostel owner was, well, intense. He was very eager to get to know his guests, he even invited us to join him at a pub pretty much the instant we got there. I'm not the most comfortable person around people like that, but to us he was quite nice. But the hostel itself was gorgeous, with a nice common room with amazingly comfortable couches. The beds in the rooms were comfy as well, and it had bathrooms that weren't in the "let's stuff all the people in one room, no one minds showering with a bunch of strangers" style, they were in fact really nice.

We spent the next couple of days exploring the city on foot. I don't think either of us are the kind of "let's do all the tourist things!" kind of people, so we ended up walking around and finding those places more by accident than anything. I have to say, it's a really beautiful city,I found it lot less intimidating than other big cities I've been to. We ended up spending quite a few hours at Edinburgh Castle, which was really fun and interesting. I think the majority of our photo's were taken there, or of the castle from different angles. :giggle:
We didn't do much shopping, but I did end up with an awesome and spacious Moomin bag, an adorable Moomin wallet and a thermos. Also Moomin. :B

The main reason we went to Edinburgh was a concert with "Evelyn, Evelyn", which we saw on Friday. It was absolutely amazing. I've been a fan of Amanda Palmer for ages, so it was really fun and exciting to see her live. Jason Webley was adorable as hell, they make such an adorable pair of siamese twins. The show was adorable, and much fun.

The only downside with the trip was that I got my period and cramps from hell, and then I got a nasty cold, which is still having a party in my body. But despite that, the trip was amazing and I would definitely go back there at some point.
So now I'll get around to posting new things. Hopefully.

tl;dr: Trip was amazing. :B

Home, sweet home.

Hello lovlies!

I got back from the cabin trip today, and I have to say it was absolutely awesome.  For once, we were really lucky with the weather, and we've had sun every single day, so I've developed a lovely tan for once. Thankfully the cabin is about a minutes walk away from a lovely, private beach, so we've had some chances of cooling down, which is nice when you got about 11 mosquito bites on one food alone, apparently I'm delicious to the little buggers. And well, washing off some of the sweat. The place is great, but it's got no shower or well, indoors toilet and such. I got an absurd joy of hearing the sound of a flushing toilet again when I got back home. :dummy:

I have taken a lot of photo's, and I'll probably post some in the next few days, but most of them are more fit for Facebook or a blog (which I don't really have, but am kind of tempted to start), than my gallery.  I might be posting some things that are not my usual style, but I'm sure you can all live with that. I haven't really looked through all of them yet, and I probably won't until tomorrow either. Right now I just want to enjoy the feeling of being clean. I would normally have included the joy of the internet again, but I found out I could use my phone as a portable wi-fi hotspot, so we did have internet there of a sorts. But it was quite slow. (obviously we all had laptops... :giggle: )

I hope you're all having a nice summer and such. :huggle:

I'll be going on a cabin trip for  the rest of the week with my best friend, so I won't be posting anything for a while.
I'm actually quite glad to get away for a bit, and be without internet (for the most part at least, I do have my phone). I've done nothing but watching the news and such since Friday, due to the events here in Norway. I kind of feel like I should write more about it, but I just can't muster up the will do to it, it's just so depressing and sad. :(

I'll probably take a bunch of new photo's on this trip, providing the weather doesn't decide it's going to be all rainy again.
Hope you're all doing great. :huggle: for all!

Hello my lovelies!

I've been sitting with my nose stuck in books for the couple of weeks, baking cakes and gobbling up strawberries like a crazy person, so summer so far has been fairly decent. Ignoring the weather at least. Normally I don't mind grey and rainy weather, but when I want to be lazy outside and slacking about in the park, I kind of want sunshine.
Might possibly be going to Scotland in August, just a couple of days after one of my best friends is getting married, slightly excited about that.
I say possibly, because I won't believe that it's happening until I'm actually there oogling at (hopefully) the men in kilts. Want.

I'm not updating as often as I'd want to, but I'm still struggling with a slight lack of inspiration. Or possibly just sleep deprivation. Or just both. Probably that. Oh well, it'll pass. I'll just have to.. I don't know, bake some cupcakes or something. Baking is fun. And tempting people with delicious foodstuffs is even more fun! :evillaugh:

You're all awesome, btw! :tighthug:

What-ho, watchers!

I might have been watching a lot of Jeeves and Wooster the past week, just a little a lot. But it's such a charming show, and I do love Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. They don't make shows like that any more, sadly. And of course, I've been reading a lot, as I always do. And cursing my ovaries for being a total bitch again. But on the bright side, I have managed to post a few new photo's for you all to enjoy (I hope).  :dummy:
I'm not entirely sure what you lovely people want to see more of, though. But I'll probably post more pink stuff, I seem to be in a pink mood nowdays. Oddly enough since I don't really like pink all that much. Oh and, maybe some geekery and silly things. I do love my silly things! I might just have gotten new things from teh interwebz again. :B

The pretties!

I felt like doing a small feature again, so here are some more pretties for you to enjoy. I tried to find some more or less unkown things as well this time.

So first of all, a thank you to all my watchers, you're all awesome and deserve cupcakes and rainbows.
I'll probably try to upload at least a few times a week, but never more than once a day, so I won't you know, spam you guys. So expect to see more cupcakes, tea-cups, flowers and silly things from me in the future as well. :dummy:

Pretty goodness!

And now for the main reason I'm giving life to this journal again, a feature of some pretty things! And we all like pretty things, don't we? :la:
